Report on trade: Another big August entry of store lambs with an abundance of keep throughout the country resulting in strong competitive bidding at ringside from buyers from Norfolk to Cornwall. Vendors rightly keen to sell at these current price levels.

The few better fleshed lambs on offer sold readily at £105- £110, and up to £118 from Bowley Farm Ltd while the best of the stores attracted prices in the mid £90’s. A favourable overall average of £85 with only small long keeping lambs below £75.
